Where can we find the program,
set times and information about the artists?
Playing times have not been confirmed yet but they will be before the day. Site maps and playing times will be available on our website and of course available on the day around the site. Information about the artists is available on the Evolve Arts Festival website.
When am I getting my tickets?
If you buy online you can choose to print your tickets at home.
Tickets purchased at outlets will be collected on the day on Evolve Arts Festival ticket stock.
Tickets purchased over the phone will be forwarded an e-ticket via email unless a hard ticket is specifically requested.
What can I bring?
Anything you want! As long as it isn't one of the prohibited items listed in the Evolve Arts Festival, terms & conditions, which you can have a look at by clicking here
What is Evolve Arts Festival's green policy?
To be as green as possible!
Evolve Arts Festival has engaged Cool Planet to assist us in ensuring the festival is 100% carbon neutral. Two weeks post event we will be able to calculate our impact and implement carbon offsetting.

Is there parking available? transfers
2000 car spaces are available across the road at Byron High School and St Finbarr’s Primary. Evolve Arts Festival will be running a shuttle bus from Belongil Fields to Red Devil Park from 11.00am to 1.00 am.
Is it all ages?
Evolve Festival is an all ages event - you must bring photo ID as proof of being over 18 to receive a drinks wristband.
Is it licensed?
The Evolve Arts Festival is a licensed event - you must bring photo ID as proof of being over 18 otherwise you will be denied a drinks wristband.
What can I bring?
Don’t forget your e-ticket or hard ticket, valid photo ID, hat, sunscreen, medication, portable ashtray if you smoke (such as empty film canister/other plastic container), clothes to suit the weather and insect repellent.
What can't I bring?
Animals (except guide dogs), any glass (bottles, containers, glasses etc) weapons, fireworks, flame-twirling items, 'high' chairs.
Can I bring a chair?
Yes, but only if it's a low 'beach chair'. No higher chairs can be brought in - there is no negotiation on this (gate security will confiscate them). Chairs are expected to be used at the outer edges of the playing arenas
What happens if it rains?
We play rain or shine. Umbrellas are not permitted, we recommend ponchos instead - buy them for a few dollars at camping/army disposal stores or at the festival's merchandise shop.
Does Evolve Arts Festival have a reserved seating area?
No
My friend is in a wheelchair is there a disabled drop off and parking point and what facilities are on site to help us?
We are working hard to ensure that access is as easy possible for any Evolve Arts Festival attendees. Designated viewing platforms will be available at all arenas. Our information team will be available to assist at all times.
Am I allowed to bring a camera to the festival?
Yes, as long as your camera is a personal camera without a professional standard zoom. We also cannot allow you to bring in video cameras or digital cameras that record footage. Long lens/professional media cameras are not permitted into the Park unless by prior arrangement (refer to the media page on this website).
Can I take in a tape/MP3 recorder?
No
My mobile phone can record audio and video, can I take that in?
Yes

Is cash available on site?
ATM’s will be located at the venue site as well as eftpos facilities, however there will be  a lot of people, we're in the middle of a field in many cases, so it could be a good idea to bring some cash along.
Can I give out pamphlets/flyers in the Park?
No.
Can I raise money with a donations tin at the festival?
No. Fundraising is not permitted by any unauthorised persons.
Can I busk at the festival?
No, All of the entertainment at the festival is selected and programmed in advance.
Is there an age limit to come to the festival?
No, however to buy alcohol you must be over 18 and have photo ID.
Do children have to pay to get in?
Children 12 and under get in for free when accompanied by a paying adult. There is no limit on the number of children an adult can bring in, however they do need to register for a ticket in advance. Kids aged 13 and upwards must buy a youth price ticket.
Can I bring a stroller/pram into the festival?
Yes
What is there for kids do at the festival?
Byron Bay Kidz Klub, the specialists in kids entertainment and child-minding, will be on-site at the festival this year.
There will be a child safe area allocated to our young festival goers which will be an area for parents and children to relax and play.
What happens if I lose my child in the Park?
Parents will be required to register their children, wristbands will be provided. A good idea is to mark the wrist band with the adult's name, mobile number and the child's name just in case they get lost. Organise with children to meet at the Kidz Klub if they do get separated. The Kidz Klub is located just next to the police tent. If a lost child arrives at the Kidz Klub, volunteers will alert festival security.
What happens if I lose something else (phone/bag etc) at the festival?
Report it to the Info Booth. Found items will be kept at the Info Booth until the end of the festival, then left onsite until the following Friday, then held at the festival office (tel 02 66 85 3195) until the end of October. Thereafter, valuables will be taken to the Byron Police Station and the remaining items will be donated to charity.
What kind of security is in place?
There will be plenty of security to keep you safe and sound. They will check bags upon entry and keep an eye out for people filming live performances and any unruly behaviour in the crowd.
Can I buy food and drinks at the festival?
Yes. We have 20 international food stalls. There are also three bars.
Can I bring in my own food and drink?
No. A sealed bottle of water is permitted. A water station is available onsite to fill your water bottle.
What kind of merchandise is on sale?
We sell CDs by the featured artists, souvenir festival t-shirts, canvas bags and other merchandise items.
Can I smoke at the festival?
You can smoke at the event, but we ask that you do so with consideration for your fellow Evolve Arts Festival punters. Please keep Evolve Arts Festival Park Butt Free - use the bins provided to dispose of your cigarette butts. No smoking in Arenas. Cigarettes are not sold at the festival.
What do I do if I have a suggestion or complaint?
Before or after the festival, write to info@evolveartsfestival.com.au At the festival itself, take it to the info booth.
